Description

Stops the task until the user authenticates himself in the specified manner.

Practical Usage

Certain tasks should only be run by certain users. This action provides a few ways for the user to identify himself before continuing.

Parameters

General Tab

Password

Text, Optional
MARKUP: PASSSWORD="Backup Service"

Specifies a password that the user must enter before the task continues. If this step is added in Visual Mode, this value is automatically encrypted.

User Name

Text, Optional
MARKUP: USER="Backup Service"

Specifies a valid Windows user name. The user specified must be logged on in order for the task to continue.
