If you are using a proxy server and you want AutoMate to go through the proxy server when attempting any network communications, you need to enter its settings in AutoMate Task Administrator Proxy options. Once your proxy server settings are entered, it will be used for Remote Administration and any Internet steps that are set to use the default proxy settings.
From the System menu in the Task Administrator window, select Options.
Click the Proxy tab (illustrated below).
Enter the properties as follows:
Enter the proxy type to use. AutoMate currently supports: Socks4, Socks4a, Socks5 and None. When None is selected, AutoMate does not use a proxy for its TCP/IP communication unless a proxy is included in a specific AutoMate step.
The host name or host address of the proxy to use.
The port on the proxy server to use.
To use authentication, select this and then enter the user name and password in the boxes below. If this is not selected, AutoMate attempts to contact the proxy server without authentication.
