Proxy Options

The Proxy tab options specify the default proxy settings AutoMate should use when attempting any network communications. This includes using Remote Administration and any Internet steps that are set to use the default proxy settings.

Proxy type

Specifies the proxy type to use. AutoMate currently supports: Socks4, Socks4a, Socks5 and none. When none is selected, AutoMate does not use a proxy for its TCP/IP communication (unless a specific AutoMate step is set otherwise).

Proxy host

Specifies the host name or host address of the proxy to use.

Proxy port

Specifies the port on the proxy server to use.

Use authentication

When enabled, AutoMate will attempt to use the information in the User ID and Password fields to authenticate a proxy request. When disabled, AutoMate attempts to contact the proxy server without authentication.

User ID

If the Use authentication option is enabled, use this User ID to authenticate proxy requests.

If the Use authentication option is enabled, use this password to authenticate proxy requests.
