Verify XML Document Action—Setting Properties

The Verify XML Document action verifies that the signature of the specified XML file is still valid. If the XML file has been signed, this action will detect a modification to that XML file that invalidates the signature.

To set Verify XML Document properties

  1. From the Task Builder Available Actions pane, open the XML folder and double-click the Verify XML Document action or drag it into the Steps pane. The following dialog appears:

  1. Select from the Sign using dropdown. The options are:

  1. If you select the Key Container option, enter the user name of the new key container. Click the Select Key Container button to browse to current key containers.

  2. Select a level from the Key container level box, either User or Machine.

  3. Enter the session name in the Session name field.

  4. To set the Description tab properties, refer to Description Tab Options.

  5. To set the Error Causes and On Error tab properties, refer to Step Error Handling.

  6. When finished, click OK to save settings and close the properties dialog window.
