The Change Printer action is used to change the default printer. Since the Print action prints to the default printer, you need to add this action any time you want to print to another printer. You could then place an additional Change Printer step at the end of the task to return to your original default printer setting.
Place the Change Printer step before opening the application from which you are going to print. Many applications find the printer on startup, so changing the printer afterward would have no effect.
From the Task Builder Available Actions pane, open the System folder and double-click the Change Printer action or drag it into the Steps pane.
In the Available printers box select the printer you want to use.
To set the Description tab properties, refer to Description Tab Options.
To set the Error Causes and On Error tab properties, refer to Step Error Handling.
When finished, click OK to save settings and close the properties dialog window.
