Create Folder Action—Setting Properties

The Create Folder action is used to create a folder or set of folders. A parent folder and subfolders can be created in one action.

To set Create Folder properties

  1. From the Task Builder Available Actions pane, open the File folder and double-click the Create Folder action or drag it into the Steps pane. The following properties dialog appears:

  1. In the Folder box, click the Open Folder button , navigate to the location for the new folder, and click OK. Then type in the names for the new folder and any subfolders. Example: C:\ExistingFolder\NewFolder\NewSubfolder

  2. To set the Description tab properties, refer to Description Tab Options.

  3. To set the Error Causes and On Error tab properties, refer to Step Error Handling.

  4. When finished, click OK to save settings and close the properties dialog window.
