Modify AD User Action - Setting Properties

The Modify AD User action enables, disables, deletes or renames an existing Active Directory user.  This action can also be used to change the password of an Active Directory user.

To set the Modify AD User Properties:

  1. From the Task Builder Available Actions pane, open the Active Directory folder and double-click the Modify AD User action or drag it into the Steps pane. The following dialog box appears:

  1. Click the Select User button to select the group you want to change.

  2. In the Action dropdown, select the action you want to perform on the group: enable, disable, rename, delete or change password.

  3. Click the Credentials tab.

  4. Enter a username and password in their respective fields.

  5. To set the Description tab properties, refer to Description Tab Options.

  6. To set the Error Causes and On Error tab properties, refer to Step Error Handling.

  7. When finished, click OK to save settings.
