How long have you been working at Network Automation?

6 months

What’s your title?

Account Manager

What do you consider to be the best part of your job?

Introducing people to our amazing product to help their organizations save time and money.

What’s the biggest challenge you’ve encountered so far?

Working under a tight deadline with the technical support and development departments in a feverish attempt to get an unreleased add-on available to a customer.  That and surviving the scorching red sauce from King Taco.

Walk us through a typical day for you.

In the morning I answer emails or call international customers because they’re in vastly different time zones. Then I hit the phones, talking with customers I’ve interacted with before and ones that I haven’t. Then I have a snack, followed by more calling. Then I go to lunch, and come back to more calling and emailing.

AutoMate BPA Server 7 has a lot of outstanding new features.  Which ones are you most excited to educate customers about?

The drag and drop Workflow Designer. It’s like the task builder but works on a global scale across your client machines. It makes life so easy, and the pretty colors make it feel like an art project.

What advice would you offer someone who is trying out AutoMate BPA Server 7 for the first time?

Get a free online demo and read all the information we have available online in the User Resource Center so you know what AutoMate BPA Server 7 can do. Most people are looking for solutions to one or two things and find out later that it can do a lot more.

What’s the best part about working at Network Automation?

The vibe and the people.

When you’re not at work, what do you spend your free time doing?

Working on music. I operate a production and mixing studio out of my apartment.

What’s your favorite type of music and do you have a favorite band?

I love modern rock, classic rock, electronica, reggae, blues, and ranchero. Ok maybe not the last one. My favorite band hands down is Pink Floyd. My favorite artist though is Bowie.

Where did you live before moving to Los Angeles?

I lived in New Mexico in a little town of about “13,000 friendly people…and a few grumpy ones”. At least that’s what the sign said as you entered the town. Thankfully there was one classic rock station we received from the neighboring city and it kept me sane and entertained.

Where did you go to college and what did you major in?

University of Southern California and I majored in music industry
