Network Automation Continues Dominance In BPA Category With 27% Sales Increase For 2007
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Leader in Business Process Automation Solutions Now Serves Over 15,000 Users Worldwide
Los Angeles, California, February 27, 2008
Network Automation, Inc., the leader in automation software, today announced record sales results for the fourth quarter and calendar year of 2007, increasing 23% and 27% for each period, respectively, over comparable 2006 figures. Buoyed by the introduction of AutoMate BPA Server 7, as well as a strengthened partner relationships and increasing brand awareness, Network Automation has advanced its standing as the leading Business Process Automation (BPA) provider in the industry.
"Network Automation had an excellent year in 2007. Not only did we successfully introduce version 6.2 of AutoMate, our single-machine business process automation product, in mid-year, but also we released AutoMate BPA Server 7, our client server product, to wide acceptance in December," said Dustin Snell, founder and CEO of Network Automation. "With the success of these two products, our AutoMate product line remains the leader in the industry, now with over 15,000 users worldwide."
AutoMate BPA Server 7 is a breakthrough in both simplicity and power for managing system automation across multiple-machine networks. Using a simple interface featuring drag-and-drop icons, the solution allows users to easily create workflows involving tasks, conditions and flow controls. Staffs can design, build and test automated business processes without writing code. The product also centralizes storage of automation objects and greatly enhances control and manageability while providing real-time notification and reporting, allowing IT workers to manage by exception.
"Thanks to successful marketing and presales efforts, the Q4 release of AutoMate BPA Server 7 was eagerly anticipated by our customers," Snell stated. "Our sales staff did an excellent job, as did our valued channel partners. Overall we experienced a 12% increase in Q4 order volume and a 10% increase in average sales price versus the fourth quarter of 2006. This indicates we are selling more high-end, multiple-machine automation solutions without losing the support of customers who have been with us for nearly a decade."
Also in 2007, Network Automation continued to receive robust critical acclaim for its BPA solutions. Among the accolades:
Windows IT Pro magazine, in its August 2007 "Industry Excellence Awards", named AutoMate as its "Editor's Best" winner in the Scripting category, citing its dual automation-and-scheduling capabilities;
NetworkWorld magazine called Network Automation one of its "10 Automation Companies to Watch", saying "[Network Automation's] most recent releases incorporate business process management [enabling] IT managers to do more than automate simple tasks. Now the software lets IT managers build complex multistep automation processes that touch on business needs and not just IT operations."
"Companies around the world are looking for new ways to reduce the costs associated with managing complex business and IT processes. Increasingly, businesses are finding Network Automation's products to be the solution to their problems," added Snell. "Our plans for 2008 are to continue to reach out to new markets and new users through our growing worldwide network of channel partners. We also plan to aggressively sell AutoMate BPA Server 7 as the solution for specific applications and industries."
