Pitney Bowes Partners with Network Automation to Enhance Data Integration Engine, Becomes Worldwide Reseller of AutoMate

Pitney Bowes Software to offer Network Automation’s business process automation software to its customers worldwide.

Los Angeles, October 30, 2012

Network Automation, the premier provider of scalable IT and business process automation software, today announced that Pitney Bowes Software, a global provider of data management, predictive analytics and communications management solutions, has partnered with the firm to become a worldwide reseller of its software solution, AutoMate BPA Server 9.  The partnership will allow Pitney Bowes Software to enhance its Sagent Data Flow system by automating critical data integration and customer communications management processes.

Pitney Bowes’ software and database enables firms to integrate geographical data into business intelligence functions, including analysis and forecasting.  Sagent Data Flow is a single solution for customer profiling, data warehousing, ETL and business intelligence and provides a variety of tools for analyzing information and creating meaningful reports.  Pitney Bowes Software will utilize AutoMate for various data integration and customer communications management processes. To address this demand, Pitney Bowes Software entered into a reseller agreement to offer Network Automation’s software solutions to its customers worldwide.  The new software allows for:

  • Logging and error checking capabilities
  • Streamlined process documentation
  • Integration with non-Sagent processes that need to coordinate with the overall load
  • Repeatable processes that can predictably and reliably deliver regular and critical customer communications such as billing statements, account statements or insurance records
  • Simplified auditing of communications processes to ensure proper execution
  • Execution of processes on either a timed or event trigger basis

“Pitney Bowes’ Sagent Data Flow seeks to make it easier to integrate information from around your enterprise.  We rely on business process automation tools to help ensure the timely delivery of that information.  When our previous software provider, Microsoft, announced that it would no longer support the Opalis automation platform, we turned to Network Automation,” said Scott Arnett, Global Product Manager Data Integration, Pitney Bowes Software.  “With AutoMate BPA Server 9, we are able to offer our customers a visual development environment that eliminates the need for complex scripting and makes for easier documentation of processes, flexible architecture that allows for distributed execution of processes, and strong logging and error handling capabilities.  Network Automation is an established leader in the business process automation software business, with a global customer base and presence in all major verticals and we are proud to integrate these solutions with Sagent Data Flow.”

“Our new partnership with Pitney Bowes Software affirms the growing demand for automation software,” said Dustin M. Snell, CEO, Network Automation. “Pitney Bowes is a premier partner with an international reach and we are thrilled to provide them with the automation tools and features they need to serve their extensive customer base.”
