Los Angeles, January 25, 2011

Network Automation, the premier provider of IT and business process automation software, announced today record sales results for its Fiscal Year Second Quarter (FYQ2) 2011 ending December 31, 2010 in which the company released its new platform AutoMate 8. Revenues grew by more than 21 percent over the same reporting period in 2010.

Contributing to the company’s success in FYQ2 2011 is the addition of eight new worldwide channel partners distributing its software solutions, AutoMate 8 and BPA Server 8, including Enterprise Systems Integration (Australia), Hypertec Direct (Canada), and Software Technology Resources (France). Indirect sales contributed to 37 percent of the company’s revenue for the quarter and grew 33 percent as compared to FYQ1. OEM sales more than doubled as well, showing a 111 percent increase.

"We’ve seen a distinct increase in the market adoption of process automation technology in desktops over the past two years. With a proven ROI in place, the stage has been set for greater enterprise level deployments," said Skye Quin, QBS Software Director. "In Q4 2010, our clients have been implementing IT process automation technology with greater frequency and on a larger scale than ever before. Network Automation’s scalable platform meets consistently the demands of all sizes of companies. We’ve been a partner of Network Automation since 2005, and are excited about the additional value automation will continue to bring to our other offerings."

"Seventy-five percent of SMBs purchase software through their channel partners," said Gary Bishop, CEO, Network Automation. "Our channel partners continue to respond favorably, recognizing the value AutoMate extends to their software packages at a competitive price point. Additionally, the growth rate of our new and returning customers continues to increase demonstrating the technology’s value and the success of our direct sales initiatives. The continued demand on both fronts reaffirms our commitment to providing a powerful platform that’s easy to use, and makes a quantifiable impact on our customers’ day-to-day operations."

In FYQ2 2011 Network Automation increased bookings by 21 percent, and deployed its process automation software solutions to a wide-range of repeat customers as well as 80 new customers including the U.S. Department of Defense, Wells Fargo, and Johnson & Johnson. Sales of its enterprise version, AutoMate BPA Server 8, increased by 65 percent and its single license version, AutoMate 8, showed a sales increase of nearly 15 percent. Network Automation’s client base consists of Fortune 2,000 companies as well as midmarket and small businesses.

Network Automation recently appointed Jaci Robbins as its director of marketing communications. Jaci joins Network Automation with more than 12 years of global communications experience, previously managing strategic campaigns at technology companies including UST Global and Telelogic. The company also expanded staff, welcoming new members to its sales, marketing, operations, and tech support teams this quarter.
