Network Automation Continues Record Growth in H1
H1 revenues increased by over 30%, 300 new clients signed 44% increase in sales, 20% increase in professional staff in Q2
Los Angeles, July 20, 2010
Los Angeles, Calif. - July 20, 2010 - Network Automation, the premier provider of IT and business process automation software, announced today its H1 sales results as revenues grew by more than 30% over the same reporting period in 2009. The company's momentum is a product of its successful Q1 2010 results coupled with a notable 44% increase in sales in Q2 2010.
Increased IT spending on efficiency improvements is an emerging trend according to an independent Forrester Research, Inc. report entitled "The State of Enterprise Software and Emerging Trends: 2010," published in February of this year. In the same report Forrester notes that in 2010, an average of 38% of a company's IT software budget allocation will go specifically to platform and infrastructure software based on a survey of North American and European enterprise software decision-makers. "As Q2 numbers are reported on the street, we are starting to see a real uptick in the demand for technology solutions," said Gary Bishop, Chief Strategy Officer of Network Automation. "IT and business process automation is at the forefront of this demand because worldwide businesses, large and small, are looking to seamlessly integrate technology platforms that reduce total cost of ownership and increase productivity."
In H1, Network Automation deployed its process automation software solutions, AutoMate 7 and BPAServer 7, to more than 300 new clients including SunGard, Fiserv, Nokia Siemens, and Universal Technical Institute. Network Automation's client base consists of Fortune 500 companies as well as midmarket and small businesses. Global sales showed an estimated 63% of customers were based in the United States, while 37% were based abroad in countries including Germany, Hong Kong, and the United Kingdom. The company also expanded its staff by 20%, most notably with the addition of Product Manager Aleksey Lazaryev.
"As we enter the second half of the year we are encouraged by the heightened interest and continued demand for our business technology offerings," said Dustin Snell, CEO of Network Automation. "Having two strong, successive sales quarters signifies the market's confidence in process automation as an effective approach to decreasing costly operational expenses."
