Los Angeles, California, January 12, 2010
Network Automation, Inc., a provider of rapid no-code IT automation solutions, today announced the highest quarterly sales in the company's five-year history for the three-month period ending December 31, 2009. Strong third and fourth quarter performances were fueled by the ability of the company's products to streamline IT-related business processes without expensive programming.
Fourth quarter 2009 sales rose 33% over the previous quarter, topping all quarterly results since the company's inception in 2004. That followed a third quarter gain of nearly 16% over the prior three months. Sales growth for the second half of 2009 was 17% higher than the comparable period for 2008.
The sales increases were driven in part by increasing penetration in the mid-market for Network Automation's award-winning automation solutions, which deliver automation results within the IT department and distribute the results to corporate business units for daily task completion as well as decision support. Sales of the company's infrastructure automation platform, AutoMate BPA Server 7, were particularly strong in the healthcare and financial services sectors.
Key client wins during the fourth quarter included Viropharma, TeliaSonera, Johnson & Johnson, US Bank, Loews Corporation, Acclaris, XO Communications, Duke University, Goldman Sachs and A&E Television Networks, among others.
"Organizations are turning to our AutoMate platform to extend their existing infrastructure, increase its efficacy, and automate repetitive IT and business processes in the face of reduced staffs and constrained IT budgets," said Dustin Snell, CEO and founder of Network Automation. "Our ability to offer a no-code automation alternative is quickly establishing us as the mid-market leader in the automation software space."
The company is on track for continued growth, with industry analysts forecasting accelerated demand for IT process automation and business process automation throughout 2010 and over the next three to five years.
