Until we started using the AutoMate product, I had no choice but to run MRP, Costing Utilities, and Global Scheduler individually each night and on weekends. I have the luxury of being able to access the Visual system from my home via the Internet. Still, it was a major inconvenience waiting for one task to finish before starting the next one. Oftentimes, it meant climbing out of bed several times during the night to check on the progress of a particular Visual task.

We now have a daily and weekly schedule setup in Automate, which makes my job a lot easier. Whenever the Visual Server goes down, or there is a power outage, I can restart Automate from home in no time at all. It is a great product, and I strongly recommend it for all Visual installations.
