Differences Between AutoMate & BPA Server

AutoMate Premium and AutoMate BPA Server 9 share some common features, such as the Task Builder, an intuitive drag-and-drop, task construction and debugging interface that allows scripts to be constructed rapidly, without the need to write code and tested thoroughly, ensuring successful performance when placed in production. Both platforms also share a list of over 300 pre-built actions and activities which perform the actual "work" of a task as well as a variety of triggers, which are objects that monitor for specific system events or conditions to occur and triggers the execution of a task as a result. The primary distinction between the two programs are mainly based on their architecture. AutoMate Enterprise is substantially a stand-alone application with basic multi-machine capabilities, whereas AutoMate BPA Server 9 supports a state of the art client-server architecture designed to offer greater security, management, reporting and multi-platform deployment capabilities for larger enterprises that require them. The following table covers feature differences found in each software platform.
