The Workflow Triggers table presents a table view of triggers associated to each workflow. In AutoMate BPA, workflow triggers can be any available Event(s) or Condition(s) that exist inside a workflow and normally used to "trigger" the start of a task based on a specific system event or condition that takes place. This report helps keep track of all triggering objects that reside within each workflow. It is specially useful when numerous Events and/or Conditions are utilized throughout a workflow's path or when individual Events or Conditions are used in multiple workflows.
The Workflow Triggers table includes a Workflow drop-down option.
The Workflow drop-down provides the following filter options:
All workflows contained in the Repository: Select All Workflows and click Go (default option)
All workflows contained in a specified folder: If folders are assigned, select Repository -> Workflows -> [folder name] and click Go.
An individual workflow: Select Repository -> Workflows -> [folder name] -> [workflow name] and click Go.
Right-clicking a particular report column presents the menu shown below which supplies more filtering options:
Sorts the selected column in ascending view.
Sorts the selected column in descending view.
Clears all sorting and returns all columns to default view (Enabled only when sorting is used).
Puts the selected column into a group.
Provides a section directly above the column headers in which a column can be dragged onto in order to group by that column. This is generally another way to perform the same action accomplished by the Group by this column option above. Numerous columns can be dragged for added filtering. For example, the illustration below shows the Name column (circled in red) grouped in descending order. Also, right clicking this section provides another menu (also illustrated below) with the following options:
Expands the selected group.
Collapses the selected view.
Clears all grouping and sets the table back to the default view.
Allows the selection of a column to further customize.
Provides the best fit for the selected column.
Clears all filters (Enabled only when filters are used).
Opens a dialog titled Filter Editor (shown below) permitting more detailed filtering options. A multitude of conditions are available allowing for practically any type of filter to be included. For instance, the example below will filter the Name column with names that begin with A or E and does not contain the word ERROR.
Provides the best fit for all available columns.
The Workflow Triggers table contains three columns:
Name: The name of the workflow.
TriggerName: The name of the trigger associated to the workflow.
TriggerType: The type of trigger associated to the workflow (i.e. Schedule Event, File or Process Condition).
Right-clicking inside the table presents the menu shown below.
Allows selection of columns in which to show/hide. All columns are shown by default. To hide a column, select it to remove its corresponding check-mark.
