Overview

The Status bar spans across the foot of Workflow Designer and provides easy access to controls that are typically used to modify the look and feel of the user interface. Move the zoom slider left or right or click the "-" or "+" sign to reduce or enlarge the size of workflow objects that appear in the main workspace. Toggle certain panels to temporarily hide them from view in order to increase the overall size of the main workspace. To re-display hidden panels, simply re-click the appropriate control on the Status bar. Hold down the re-size grip located on the right side of the Status bar in order to dynamically modify the overall size of Workflow Designer.

Control

Description

Zoom Slider

Allows you to increase or decrease the size of objects that appear in the main workspace. When using this feature, a percentage value bigger or smaller than the original size is displayed. You can control zoom in the following ways:

  • Move the slider left or right until the desired size is reached.  
  • Click + or - to zoom in or out in increments.
  • Right-click the displayed percentage value and select from a drop-down list of predefined values.

NOTE: To revert back to the default percentage value (100%), left-click the current value that appears.

Show/Hide Panel

Certain window panels in Workflow Designer can be hidden from view or re-displayed with just a single click of a button. All panels are shown by default. You can hide a panel by toggling the control associated to that panel. To re-display the panel, toggle the control again. You can hide/show the following panels:

Resize Grip

Allows a convenient way for you to dynamically re-size the Workflow Designer window. Simply hold down the re-size grip and move the cursor to re-size the window to your liking. Release the re-size grip when satisfied with the current size.
