Task Results Chart


The Task Results chart supplies a numerical or percentage account of previous task execution results, which can be one of four values; Success, Failure, Stopped or Aborted. Each execution result is color coded for easy identification. By default, this chart displays horizontal bars that represent the total number of occurrences of a specific execution result for a task. Bar lengths are proportional to the values that they represent. For instance, if Task1 ran successfully eight times, failed twice and aborted once, three separate bars would be displayed on the grid, each representing the number of occurrences for each execution result. Alternatively, this chart can return percentage values by enabling the Show Stacked control (normally disabled by default). Doing so will generate a single bar for each task with relevant execution results stacked (one above the other), each bar portion revealing result occurrences as percentage values (as shown below).

Chart Elements




Identifies what the various elements in the chart represent indicated by colors. The available options are:

  • Success (blue) - Identifies successful task execution results.
  • Failure (red) - Identifies failed task execution results.
  • Stopped (orange) - Identifies task executions that have been stopped.
  • Aborted (purple) - Identifies task executions that have been aborted.

Label Position

The position of the label that indicates the value of each data point. The available options are:

  • Outside (default) - The label will be displayed outside of each data point (directly above each bar).
  • Center - The label will be displayed inside each data point (directly in the middle of each bar).


The list of chart element styles to select from, including outset, gradient, transparent and 3d bar styles, just to name a few. Click the down arrow and select from the drop-down list of styles that appear.

Show Labels

If enabled, specifies that labels will be shown (either above or in the middle of each bar element, depending on which option was selected under Label Position (enabled by default).

Show Mirror

If enabled, the chart displays a portion of each bar element inverted and transparent to visually display a "mirrored" effect (disabled by default).

Show Stacked

If enabled, specifies that stacked bars will be used in order to compare the parts to the whole (in percentage values). This parameter is disabled by default.
