Indicator Options

By default, when a task runs, a small display indicator (shown below) conveying the task's progress appears in the lower right-hand corner of the screen directly above the Windows task bar (assuming the task bar is located at the bottom of the screen). This indicator displays the name of the running task, its total progress (step number currently running followed by total number of steps) and total progress of the current  step. It also contains a Stop Task link to immediately stop the running task.

The Indicator properties (shown below) determines whether or not to allow the indicator window to appear. It also lets you modify the default hot-key to be used to immediately interrupt running tasks and at the same time open a separate Running Tasks Window displaying a list of all running and queued tasks.

Description

Display running task window when a task is running

If this option is enabled, a small indicator window will appear in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen when a task runs. The window displays the name of the task, the step number currently executing, and total progress of the running task. There is also a "Stop Task" link that stops the task when clicked. Running Task windows stack one on top of the other if there is more than one running task. When this option is not selected, no window appears and the task runs silently. If enabled, the indicator window remains above any other windows that may appear in the same area. If disabled, the window falls into the background if another window is placed on top of it. This option is enabled by default.

NOTE: A hidden indicator window can only be brought to the front if it has a title bar (i.e. if the parameter labeled Display title bar on Running Task window is enabled).

Use transparent window

If enabled, displays the task indicator window as slightly transparent. This allows other windows underneath the running task indicator to be seen. This option is enabled by default.
