Connect to Network Action

Establishes a connection to another network using a VPN (Virtual Private Network) or dial-up. This action can also be used to disconnect a specific VPN or dial-up connection or all currently established connections.
Note: This does not take on the redial properties that are specified in the phone book entry.
Used to connect to the Internet with a modem or other network device if needed before executing Internet actions.

Allows the selection of an existing dial-up connection as specified in the Windows phonebook.
When set to YES, allows the manual entry of a dial-up number, user name and password in which to establish a connection with, bypassing the Windows phonebook. The connection will be established based on the information in the Phone Number, User name and Password fields.
Specifies the phone number that should be dialed. This option is only valid when the Use manual settings is selected in conjunction with the Establish a connection parameter.
Specifies the username to use when logging on to the remote connection. This option is only valid when the Use manual settings is selected in conjunction with the Establish a connection parameter.
Specifies the password to use when logging on to the remote connection. This option is only valid when the Use manual settings is selected in conjunction with the Establish a connection parameter. When adding this step using visual mode, the value is automatically encrypted and decrypted at runtime.
Specifies the action that should take place on the connection.
The available options are:
Establish a connection: Establish a dial-up or VPN connection
Disconnect a specific connection: Disconnects the phonebook connection specified in the Entry parameter if it is active.
Disconnect all connections: Disconnects all active connections.
When set to YES, allows redial settings to take place as specified under the Redial Attempts and Time Between Attempts parameters.
If the connection does not succeed, specifies the amount of times that the connection should be re-dialed before an error is generated. This option is only valid if action is set to Establish a connection.
Specifies the amount of time to wait for before attempting to redial the connection. The Wait Type [WAITTYPE] parameter specifies whether this value is referring to seconds or minutes. This option is only valid if action is set to Establish a connection.
Specifies whether the number specified in Time Between Attempts is in seconds or minutes. This option is only valid if action is set to Establish a connection.
The available options are:
seconds: The wait time specified is in seconds. (default)
minutes: The wait time specified is in minutes.
