Using the Recorder Wizard

The recorder wizard is a Task Builder feature that allows you to automatically create a series of steps by recording mouse and keyboard events. The wizard records the actions exactly as you perform them. (If necessary, you may want to practice doing the steps smoothly before recording.) Once the task is recorded, you can also edit the steps as needed.

To record task steps using the recorder wizard:

  1. On the Task Builder Tools menu, click Recorder.

  2. Follow the prompts of the wizard:

  3. Perform the steps you want to include and press CTRL+ALT+F12 when you are finished.

NOTE: Recorder functionality is not available on Windows Vista or higher operating systems.
