FTP Create Folder Action—Setting Properties

The FTP Create Folder action is used to create a folder on an FTP server. The FTP Log On action must be used first to begin the FTP transaction and connect with the server.

  1. From the Task Builder Available Actions pane, open the Internet\FTP folder and double-click the FTP Create Folder action or drag it into the Steps pane.

  2. In the Remote folder box, enter the fully qualified UNIX path and folder name. Alternately you can click the Open Folder button and use the FTP browser to navigate to the location. Then add the new folder name to the path.
    Example: /ExistingFolder/NewFolderName

  3. In the Session name box, enter the name of the FTP session. The name is set in the FTP Log On action.

  5. To set the Error Causes and On Error tab properties, refer to Step Error Handling.

  6. When finished, click OK to save settings and close the properties dialog window.
