The Click Mouse action can be used in conjunction with a Move Mouse or Move Mouse to Object action when more reliable interactivity actions, such as Send Keystrokes, cannot be used. It may be needed for an external application that does not support standard Windows conventions such as keyboard shortcuts.
From the Task Builder Available Actions pane, open the Interactivity folder and double-click the Click Mouse action or drag it into the Steps pane.
Under Click the following button, select Left, Center, or Right.
Under Click type, select Single click, Double click, Hold down, or Release.
To set the Description tab properties, refer to Description Tab Options.
To set the Error Causes and On Error tab properties, refer to Step Error Handling.
When finished, click OK to save settings and close the properties dialog window.
